Why you can believe any of this

  • Tested, not asserted

Hot dal, oily sabzi and gravy left standing on a plate for 60 minutes. The base stayed dry and the plate could still be lifted flat by one edge. The same test on moulded paper pulp went spongy in ten minutes. See for yourself →

  • You can run the test yourself

We would rather you checked than took our word for it. That is the entire reason the sample kit exists — put gravy in it and leave it. See for yourself →

  • A real registered manufacturer

Agrocyclex Bio Products Private Limited, CIN U32900GJ2026PTC171974. We press the plates at our own plant — there is no trading layer between you and the production line.

  • What we do not claim

We hold no CPCB, IS 17088 or ISO compostability certification, and we do not pretend otherwise. The material is rice husk and rice bran with nothing added — no wax, no plastic lining.

Before you enquire

What is the minimum order quantity for disposable plates wholesale?

For wholesale pricing the MOQ is 500 pieces per item, and you can mix products across an order — for example 500 plates and 500 bowls — with each line quoted separately. If you need less than that, there is a trial pack from 50 pieces and a ₹299 sample kit; both are on this site.

Are you a manufacturer or a reseller?

We are the manufacturer. Our factory is at 8-B Satyam Industrial Estate, Sarkhej-Bavla Road, Moraiya, Ahmedabad 382213. Buying direct means there is no trading margin between you and the production line.

Why is there no price list on the website?

A rate for 500 pieces is not the same rate for 50,000, and delivery cost varies by pincode. Instead of a misleading public price, we send a written quote with the unit rate at your quantity, price breaks at higher volumes, pack and carton counts, GST at the applicable rate, delivery cost to your pincode, and dispatch timeline.

Do you deliver outside Gujarat?

Yes. We deliver pan-India by road freight or courier depending on order size and destination. Delivery cost to your pincode is itemised in the quote.

Do you provide a GST invoice?

Yes. Every order ships with a GST-compliant tax invoice, so the purchase is fully accountable for your input tax credit.

What are the plates made from?

Rice bran and rice husk. There is no plastic lining and no wax coating, and the tableware is compostable, breaking down in roughly 60 to 90 days.

How do rice husk plates compare to bagasse or paper plates?

The difference shows up under wet food. Bagasse and moulded pulp soften as gravy sits on them, and paper plates go limp faster still. Rice husk composite is rigid and holds dal, curry and full thali service without drooping in the hand. If you are already using a compostable plate and your complaint is that it goes soft during service, that is the specific problem this material solves.

Will the plates hold up for a full thali or gravy service?

Yes. That is the use case they are built for. The plates stay rigid under wet, oily and hot food for the length of a normal meal service, which is why caterers running thali and buffet counters are the buyers who reorder.
